Every
situation is an opportunity to be refreshed in our consecration, an
opportunity to empty and open our vessel to have more Christ by enjoying
Him, and a privilege to be perfected more for spiritual advancement
unto the building up of the Body of Christ.
In the one
and a half month of propagation, the team, being living witnesses, saw
how God responded through His move and work to the prayers and petitions
of the saints to have a golden lampstand in Numancia. Because we cooperated
with the Lord when we went and stayed there with Him, we experienced
His cherishing, nourishing, caring, and shepherding. His faithfulness
was manifested through the fruits, the materials, who were waiting to
be gathered and brought to the feast of the unsearchable riches of the
all-inclusive Christ to be built up corporately.
Every day
we had our home meetings; at night most often, we had small group meetings.
Through the practice of pray-reading, studying, reciting, and prophesying
(PSRP), everyone enjoyed and feasted, and was perfected to be a normal,
living, fresh and organic member of the Body. At times, they prophesied
all at once as if wanting to be first in functioning to pray and prophesy
conveying the light and life seen and enjoyed through “PSRPing.”
Because of their enjoyment, they did not mind the negative words spoken
against them and they did not want to waste their time to talk about
them. What they wanted whenever they met was just to enjoy Christ.
One day,
during nap time, I was awakened when a sister called us. It was because
the family of her cousin, with some of their neighbors, accepted her
invitation to listen to us. The 24 souls gained by the Lord were the
fruits of the Cornelius-like heart of this sister who contacted her
relatives and neighbors to spend some time to hear and receive what
we had to share with them.
Through home
meetings and small group meetings together with the practice of PSRP,
the first Lord’s table meeting on November 19, 2006, attended
by 17 local saints and 12 saints from other localities, was the manifestation
of the Christ who is within the saints, the living members of the Body
which was expressed as the church which is in Numancia.
After the
establishment, the remaining days were intensified by encouraging them
to continue in enjoying the Lord, in shepherding one another, in loving
one another, in encouraging one another, and in caring for one another.
We did this to show them that they were not following a man but the
vision concerning Christ as the Head and the church as His Body. Though
we had tears when we were leaving, what comforted us were their words
that they would continue to meet rain or shine, together with Paul’s
words which they usually exclaimed in the meeting, “Whether we
live or we die we are the Lord’s.” May the Lord produce
the saints in Numancia as overcomers, for the sake of His testimony,
His recovery, for the building up of His Body, which will consummate
in the New Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
